Light Heavyweight UFC Champion Forrest Griffin will meet undefeated Rashad Evans on 12/27/08 on the UFC 92 fight card. Griffin upset heavily favored Quinton Jackson over 5 rounds to win the title, Evans KO’d former champ Chuck Liddell in the second round to earn his spot as the #1 contender. Griffin is a lanky striker who has adopted a “stick and move” style in contrast to his early “brawling” style, he has an underrated Jujitsu game and good wrestling skills he will want to take this fight to the ground only on his terms, meaning he does not want to be on his back with the wrestler Evans. Rashad Evans has developed a strong striking game to complement his Division one college wrestling background, he has won fights by KO punches and a head kick KO victory over Sean Salmon, he has a cautious style but has excellent power in his counterstrikes, he may take Griffin to the mat where he can use his good ground and pound. This will be a war as both fighters have great conditioning, heart and skill. Freestyle MMA will bring you the UFC 92 results live on Dec 27th.

Josh Koscheck vs Yoshiyuki Yoshida:Too much too soon for Yoshida, he said in the pre fight interview he was looking for the looping right that Kos likes to throw, but he forgot to look for the straight right which landed flush on the face of Yoshida, he was basically KO’d fron the first punch but still standing and the second one floored him face first and it was all over

Swick came out firing, and caught Goulet on his glass chin, TKO’ing him in less than a minute
Steve Cantwell vs Razak Al Hassan:Al Hassan came out stalking Cantwell, landing decent punches and keeping the pressure on. Cantwell countered nicely, and worked the the fight to the ground where he sunck in a deep armbar, Al Hassan wouldn’t tab and his arm clearly broke, promting the referee to step in and stop the fight.
