UFC87’s main event features two fighters with a combined 18-2 record in the UFC, but with similar styles, GSP and Jon Fitch may not put on the show that Kenny Florian and Roger Huerta will. Brock Lesnar has the big following from his wrestling days, and has the size and aggression to succeed in the UFC, but can he bring the excitement like the Lightweights do? So look for Florian vs. Huerta to steal the show, both are aggressive strikers with great conditioning who are both good on the ground, give Florian a slight edge on the ground and Huerta a slight edge in punching power. No matter what the results may be, this one will be a war.

The UFC isn’t doing Brock Lesnar any favors, first it was former champ Frank Mir, and now Heath Herring, a veteran of 43 fights, who has taken on the best in the world including Fedor, and Noguiera twice. Top contender Jon Fitch will get his long awaited title shot on 8/9/08 against champ Georges St Pierre. This will be a battle of two of the best ground fighters in the Welterweight division, Fitch will try and do what his teammate, Josh Koscheck was unable to do, and that is to try and put St Pierre on his back and keep him there.
